Affiliate terms

Version 2026-10-12. Plain English, because a rule nobody reads protects nobody.

What you earn

10% of every payment made by each creator you refer, for as long as they stay subscribed. It is not a one-off: if they pay us every month for two years, you earn on all of it, and it only stops when they stop. It is calculated on the amount they actually paid after any discount — so if they used your code for 10% off their first payment, your 10% that month is of the discounted amount. On the £99.99 monthly Pro plan that is £8.99 for the first month and £9.99 every month after. A creator in the US pays in dollars: we count each dollar payment in pounds at a fixed rate of $1 = 75p, and your 10% is of that. On the $129.99 monthly Pro plan that is £8.77 for the first month and £9.74 every month after. On an annual plan, where the creator pays for the year in one go, it is 10% of each yearly payment. One-off top-ups do not count — only subscriptions. If we have agreed different terms with you in writing, those terms apply instead of this paragraph.

What the creator gets

Anyone who signs up through your link, or types your code at checkout, gets 10% off their first payment on any paid plan. It applies once, to their first subscription only, and not to top-ups. We may change or withdraw this offer for future signups; it never changes for someone already on it.

Your code

You start with a code we generate, and you can change it to one of your own up to three times, from the Earn tab. Each time you change it, your old code stops working straight away and becomes available for someone else to claim — so update anything you have already posted before you switch. Customers who already signed up through the old code stay yours. Codes that read as TikEditor, as our staff, or as an offer we are not making are not available, and we can withdraw a code that is misleading or impersonates someone. Used all three changes? Ask us in Support.

When you get paid

By bank transfer, once a month. If your unpaid balance is £25 or more on the 1st, we send it by the 7th of that month. A payout can occasionally go out later than that; if yours does, you are still paid everything you are owed, and nothing expires. Below £25, or if a refund takes it below £25 before it is sent, it rolls over until it gets there. We pay in pounds; if your bank is in another currency, your bank's conversion is between you and them.

You cannot refer yourself

No referring your own accounts, your own business, or anyone whose subscription you pay for. We check automatically, including whether the same payment card appears on both accounts. A commission earned this way is void, and repeated attempts end the arrangement.

No fake or incentivised signups

No creating accounts to claim commission, no paying people to sign up, no bots. Signups must be real creators who chose to try TikEditor.

How you may promote us

Talk about TikEditor honestly. Do not claim results we have not promised, do not imply you work for us, and do not bid on “TikEditor” or close variants in paid search. Spam, in any channel, ends the arrangement immediately.

Refunds and chargebacks

If a referred customer is refunded or charges back, the commission for that payment is void. If it has already been paid to you, it comes off your next payout.

Ending it

Either of us can end this at any time, for any reason. If you end it, or we end it for a reason other than abuse, you keep anything already earned. If we end it for abuse, unpaid commission is void.

Your tax is yours

You are not our employee. What you earn here is your income to declare, and any tax on it is yours to pay. If you are VAT-registered, tell us and invoice us accordingly.

Changes

We may change these terms. If we do, you will be asked to accept the new version before your next payout, and the rate for commission already earned never changes retrospectively.
