Terms of service
Plain English, because a rule nobody reads protects nobody.
Last updated 6 October 2026.
Who you are dealing with
TikEditor is operated by Probe Edge Digital FZ-LLC (licence number 47026046), FOAM2987, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone–FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at hello@tikeditor.com, or through the chat in your dashboard, which reaches a person.
These terms are governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates.
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, that does not take away the consumer rights you have where you live — including the 14-day cancellation right in our refund policy, and the data rights in our privacy notice.
What the service does
You upload video you have the right to use. We remove silences, dead space and repeated takes, and give you back a shorter cut. One video costs one credit.
The editing is automatic. It is good, and it is not a human editor — we do not promise that every cut will be right for every clip, and some recordings are refused outright because there is nothing usable in them.
You have to be 18
TikEditor is for people aged 18 or over. Affiliates are paid real money and TikTok Shop's own seller terms require it.
If we find out an account belongs to someone under 18 we will close it and refund any unused subscription time.
Your footage stays yours
You keep every right in the video you upload and in the cut we give back. We claim no ownership and we do not use your footage to train anything.
We hold a finished cut for 30 days so you can download it, then delete it automatically. Download what you need — after that it is gone from our side, and we cannot recover it.
We hold the original you uploaded for 3 days after its cut is made, so you can change the cut without sending the video again. Then it is deleted automatically. Deleting the video from your dashboard deletes the original with it straight away.
We process your video only to produce your cut. We do not watch it, share it, or hand it to anyone else, except where a court or the law requires it.
What you must not upload
Anything you do not have the right to use. Anything showing a person under 18 in a sexual context, anything unlawful, and anything created to harass a specific person.
We do not pre-screen uploads. If we are told about something in this list we will remove it and close the account, and where the law requires it we will report it.
Credits, plans and top-ups
A subscription grants credits each month. Credits from a subscription do not roll over — a new month replaces them. Credits bought as a top-up do not expire while your account is open.
Plans are paid monthly or annually. Annual plans are paid once a year and give the same allowance every month.
If a cut fails for a reason on our side, the credit goes back automatically. You do not have to ask.
Prices can change. We will tell you before a change affects a subscription you already hold, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Free trial
New customers get a 3-day free trial, for up to 10 videos. A card is needed to start it, and there is one free trial per person.
We email you before the 3-day trial ends. If you cancel before it ends — from Account → Manage billing — you pay nothing. If you do not, the plan you chose starts and your card is charged its monthly or annual price.
If the card is already linked to another TikEditor account, the plan starts straight away and the card is charged. You can still cancel within 14 days for a refund.
You can also skip the trial and start your plan straight away, with all of its videos. Your card is charged when you check out, and you can still cancel within 14 days for a refund.
Cancelling
Cancel a subscription at any time from your dashboard. It runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops. We do not charge a cancellation fee and we do not ask why.
Deleting your account is separate and immediate — see the refund policy for what happens to money, and the privacy notice for what happens to data.
When we might suspend an account
For not paying, for uploading something in the list above, for trying to break the service or get around its limits, or for abusing the referral programme — which has its own terms.
Where we can, we will tell you what happened and give you a chance to put it right first.
What we do not promise
We do not promise the service will never be down, or that every cut will be usable. We run one production server; we back up the database, and we tell you plainly that a finished cut lives for 30 days and no longer.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Beyond that, our liability to you for any claim is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
If you are a consumer rather than a business, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in this document.
Changes to these terms
We will post the new version here with a new date. If a change materially reduces what you get, we will email you before it applies to you.
